Canadian Home Builders’ Association – Newfoundland and Labrador, in partnership with the City of St. John’s, will be hosting an information session geared to the residential construction sector on Thursday, January 16, 2020.
Attendees will be given the opportunity to meet city staff from the Department of Planning, Engineering and Regulatory Services and to network with other residential construction professionals. At the same time, speakers from the City will provide an overview of the development application process for new residential applications as well as renovations.
Timely and complete building development applications are important both to the business community and the City of St. John’s, as development not only stimulates the economy, but also expands the City’s tax base. The City appreciates the need for timely responses to industry and is working to improve efficiencies.
By attending this event, developers, builders and renovators will receive key information from City officials that will lead to an improved turnaround time of applications.
